About Peptide Science Institute
How PSI operates, what it publishes, and why it exists.
Peptide Science Institute is an independent research platform indexing peer-reviewed evidence for peptide compounds. PSI assigns evidence levels using a published framework, maintains a verified physician directory across five U.S. cities, and tracks FDA regulatory status. For editorial inquiries: info@peptidescienceinstitute.org.
What PSI is
- An evidence-graded index of peer-reviewed peptide research.
- A physician directory built on a published five-gate verification standard.
- A tracker of FDA regulatory status for peptide compounds.
What PSI is not
- A medical provider. Nothing on PSI constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- A supplier. PSI does not sell peptides, compounds, or related products.
- An editorial-for-hire platform. No party can pay for editorial content, evidence classification, or placement.
How PSI evaluates evidence
Every compound on PSI carries an evidence level. These reflect the published research.
- FDA Approved.
- The compound has completed the full FDA regulatory process, including Phase III clinical trials.
- Human Trials.
- At least one human clinical trial has been published. Human data exists; the compound has not completed FDA approval.
- Animal Studies.
- Research comes from animal models. No human clinical trials have been published. Results in animals do not confirm results in people.
- Preclinical.
- Available data comes from laboratory experiments on cells or tissue samples. This is the earliest stage of investigation.
For methodology details and edge cases, see Editorial Standards.
The physician directory
PSI maintains a directory of physicians who offer peptide therapy as an explicitly named clinical service. Every listed physician has passed a five-gate verification process: confirmed peptide services, physical office in the metro area, qualifying board certification, active license with zero disciplinary history, and a verifiable professional presence.
Verification is not for sale. A physician who no longer meets the standard is removed from the directory.
Browse the directory. For the full verification standard, see Editorial Standards.
